TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
Gunida Gunyah Aboriginal Corporation provides transitional housing properties for individuals and clients facing crisis and experiencing homelessness. To gain access to accommodation, clients must engage in the Transitional Housing Program and commence their involvement. To be considered for the program, applicants must meet certain eligibility requirements. In addition to the eligibility criteria, clients must be committed to working with support staff, setting goals for the future, and working towards securing more permanent accommodation.
The Transitional Housing Program is designed to assist those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It offers a supportive environment that provides clients with comprehensive support. The program focuses on assisting clients in building a tenancy, developing living skills, and securing more permanent accommodation. The support services provided by the program aim to help clients transition out of homelessness and into stable housing.
By engaging in the Transitional Housing Program, clients have access to a range of support services. These may include case management, counseling, life skills training, and financial assistance. The program also provides opportunities for clients to connect with support services in the community, such as employment services, healthcare, and education.
To be eligible for the Transitional Housing Program, clients must be homeless or at risk of homelessness and meet the criteria set by the Gunida Gunyah Aboriginal Corporation.
