LILLY PILLY PLACE
Lilly Pilly Place for Women and Children is a newly established refuge in Gunnedah, New South Wales. Funded by the Department of Communites and Justice and led by Gunida Gunyah Aboriginal Corporation, the refuge aims to provide a safe haven for women and children fleeing Domestic and Family Violence.
Lilly Pilly Place operates under the new Core and Cluster model, which integrates self-contained accommodation and a range of support services on a single site. This unique approach aims to create a holistic approach to meet the needs of women and children in their journey towards healing and recovery.
The refuge offers a range of support services designed to empower women and their children to rebuild their lives free from violence and abuse.
Lilly Pilly Place recognises that each woman's journey is unique, and they provide individualised support tailored to their needs. The refuge aims to create a safe space that encourages women to share their experiences and be heard, while fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Gunida Gunyah is a proud associate organisation member
