ENTERPRISES

Gunida Gunyah is a non-profit organisation that relies on community support and targeted funding to deliver valuable programs and services to the community.

To enhance the customer experience and generate revenue, the organization has implemented vending machines and massage chairs at the Hub. These additions not only provide convenience and relaxation for clients and customers but also serve as an effective way to support Gunida Gunyah's cause.
The Hub is equipped with vending machines that are located in the hub foyer and the entrance of the conference room on the second floor. These vending machines offer a selection of snacks and beverages, conveniently accessible to visitors. By purchasing from these vending machines, customers and clients contribute to the organization's fundraising efforts.
In addition to vending machines, Gunida Gunyah has invested in massage chairs, which are located throughout the Hub. These massage chairs provide an opportunity for clients and customers to unwind, relax, and improve their overall wellbeing. By utilizing these chairs, individuals not only experience a sense of relaxation but also contribute to the organization's efforts in delivering programs and services to the community.
Furthermore, the conference room at the Hub is available for rent, equipped with all the necessary amenities for successful events. The room features a large smart screen, Wi-Fi connectivity, a printer and copier, and a nearby breakout room. Additionally, the conference room has a full kitchen facility and an accessible bathroom. These facilities make it an ideal space for hosting meetings, conferences, and other gatherings.

Gunida Gunyah also possesses an array of event equipment that is utilized to deliver community events. This equipment is available to businesses, community organizations, and individuals for hire. By leveraging these resources, individuals and organizations can organize their own events while contributing to Gunida Gunyah's mission and fundraising efforts.

Gunida Gunyah is extending the hub and will be adding a gift shop, workshop space and cafe. The social enterprise is expected to open in 2025.

Social Enterprise coming in 2025

Gunida Gunyah is grateful for the infrastructure grant from the Growing Regions Program. This support will enable the extension of the hub and the addition of several exciting features. A gift shop, workshop space, and café will be added to the premises. These additions will further enhance the organisation's ability to support the community.

The café will serve as an important component of the social enterprise. It will provide opportunities for young people to engage in training in barista skills and hospitality, providing them with valuable skills and job opportunities. Additionally, the café will offer a unique dining experience, featuring traditional café food with an Indigenous twist.

Gunida Gunyah is actively searching for partners and companies to collaborate with in delivering this initiative. By working together, they can ensure the successful implementation of the café and provide ongoing support to the community. This collaborative effort will not only benefit the individuals involved but also contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the region.
